Recently XANADU has upgraded its casting photopolymer , mainly in hardness and viscosity improvement.

The new photopolymer resin printed work-pieces can obtain a better surface hardness around 64Shore D,which is more stable for customers to use.

Many customers don’t have resin heating system on their 3d printer, when temperature drops,like in winter, the resin viscosity will climb and affect the printing performance.

To solve this problem, the new resin viscosity is controlled around 200~400mPA (@25°), which is lower than its similar international brand counterpart product, the suggested operating temperature is 22~25°C.

XD-K06 is opaque yellow color castable photopolymer, aimed for high resolution printing and mainly applied in Jewelry, Dental industries.

The resolution range is 25~100μm, commonly 50μm is enough to present the exquisite details. Following are the pictures and videos of our XD-K06 printed by our customer by DLP printer at resolution around 45μm,printing details are recognizable and surface hardness can be felt from them.

XD-K06 also has outstanding performance in casting, featured with stable heat-resistance and a clean burn-out without any residues.

The glass transition temperature(Tg) is approx. 100°C, and it is stable until 200°C, gradually degrade during 200°C~400°C, mostly degrade above 400°C, and thoroughly degrade around 800°C.The following is the temperature chart.

And following pictures shows burning process, we use XD-K06 to print a part like cylinder, put it in a burning furnace, and it was completely burnt to ashes.
